The first step in your journey towards getting a digital overview of your injection history, glucose readings, and dosing insights, is to find and download a compatible companion app.

We are working to expand the available compatible apps used with NovoPen® 6.

Apps currently compatible with NovoPen® 6 in Australia include:

Once you’ve downloaded your companion app, follow the app’s instructions on how to find your phone’s near-field communication (NFC), how to connect, and then start using the smart1 pen’s connected features with the app.

Once you’re connected, you’re ready to continue your regular injection schedule. Use the smart1 pen according to the Instructions For Use you received with the pen, but going forward, remember to transfer your injection data after each injection using the wireless NFC technology as described by your companion app. Doing this after each injection will ensure that your data is always up to date.

You can find the Instructions for Use for NovoPen® 6 here.

Follow your compatible companion app’s instructions on how to share your digital injection diary with your healthcare provider in order to give them an up to date view of your dosing history. Sharing the diary can help healthcare providers support personalised treatment.
